Jan 30, 2014 (newstodate): The first carrier in Sweden to be certified according to the new EASA-OPS standard is Novair.
The carrier operates a fleet of four Airbus A320 Family aircraft on charter flights from Sweden and Norway.
With increased emphasis on risk analysis and risk management specifying minimum safety and related procedures for commercial passenger and cargo fixed-wing aviation, EASA-OPS replaces the former EU-OPS standard from 2014.
While the former EU-OPS was country-specific, the new standards are universal for airlines registered in the EU.
