Jan 15, 2014 (newstodate): Estonian Air has contracted a UK broker to sell the excess capacity of its Embraer 170 aircraft fleet.
Taking effect from January 1, 2014, Air Charter Service has been appointed the sole agent for the aircraft in the West European ACMI and charter markets.
Estonian Air took delivery of its first of four Embraer E-170 aircraft on February 22, 2012, aiming at replacing its three Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft that have, however, proved difficult to sell.
