Jan 23, 2014 (newstodate): December 2013 was not too lenient on Korean Air Lines in the Nordic markets - at least as to cargo volumes.
Only in the insatiable Norwegian market did Korean Air Lines see positive growth with volumes up 6.8 percent, y-o-y, to 963 tonnes.
In Sweden, the carrier's second-largest market in December, Korean Air Lines aggregated 337 tonnes of cargo, down 32.9 percent, y-o-y, and in Denmark volumes dropped 21.1 percent to 288 tonnes.
The Finnish market was no exception, with volumes down 60.6 percent to only 66 tonnes.
Korean Air Lines operates two weekly Boeing 777/747-400F freighter services to Incheon, Seoul, from Copenhagen, two weekly Boeing 747-400F services from Stockholm, and three Boeing 777 freighter services from Oslo.
