Jan 08, 2014 (newstodate): The Danish airline DAT is to introduce its first Airbus aircraft in the fleet by spring 2014.
The carrier is to acquire one Airbus A320-200 aircraft to be put into operations from April 2014, adding a new market segment to the carrier's existing offerings - the market for charter and ad-hoc flights with up to 174 passengers.
So far, DAT has been operating mainly in the ATR segment as well as offering services with its single MD-83 aircraft offering 135 seats now flying on the Coca Cola World tour to promote the WM finals in Brazil in 2014 and "sold out" till September 2014.
