Sep 26, 2310 (newstodate): Not surprisingly, Swissport's Ukrainian counterpart is not satisfied with its opponent's version of the ongoing struggle over the failed handling joint venture.
Ukraine International Airlines claims that the repeated cancellations of the court hearings were due not to the Ukrainian party but in response to Swissport's requests, blaming Swissport for lobbying to achieve an unjust judgment in their favor.
UIA also claims that lack of necessary investments by Swissport led to a dramatic reduction in ground handling of passengers at the airport Kiev Borispol Airport.
To remedy this situation, UIA had to inject fresh capital into the handling company now named Interavia, thus raising the share holding capital to the detriment of the interests of Swissport that saw its share dipping to under one percent.
The final decision by the highest court is now expected on September 18, 2013 - unless postponed again..
