Sep 13, 2013 (newstodate): Sweden's Jonkoping Airport has completed the implementation of new airnav infrastructure.
On September 11, 2013, the airport commissioned a new ILS system allowing for instrument landings also on the south end of the runway in bad weather conditions, enhancing flight safety and regularity.
The new system will not least benefit the airport's growing cargo night traffic by TNT and time:matters as well as Post Sweden.
The airport has seen cargo volumes rising month by month, especially boosted by TNT that has now hit the ceiling of its existing BAe 146 freighter cargo capacity.
