Sep 04, 2013 (newstodate): The Slovakian carrier and ACMI provider AirExplore now operates a fleet of four aircraft - but plans for expansion in 2014.
-At the moment, our fleet comprises three Boeing 737-400 and one Boeing 737-300 aircraft, with the latest Boeing 737-400 delivery in April this year, but we are preparing plans for adding one more aircraft in the next six months, says Martin Stulajter, Air Explore CEO and co-owner.
-Depending on the market situation, our next aircraft will either be a Boeing 737-800 or a Boeing 757-200 aircraft coming in presumably by March 2014.
-All our four aircraft are now flying in Europe, but no firm contracts have been landed yet as to the coming winter season. We are now busy with talks and negotiations to firm up assignments, be it charter or ACMI operations, says Mr Stulajter.
Based at Bratislava, Air Explore received its AOC on May 31, 2010, launched flights with its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-300, in June 2010,
