Sep 02, 2013 (newstodate): Russia's Big-5 carriers in air cargo transportation again increased their share of the market in July 2013, the latest month accounted for.
Together they now share 76.5 percent of the total air cargo volumes transported by Russian carriers during January-July 2013, up from 73.6 percent only one year earlier and now totaling 429,995.39 tonnes and up seven percent, y-o-y.
The carriers are AirBridgeCargo with 234,978.70 tonnes of cargo and mail and up 16.4 percent, y-o-y, Aeroflot with 105,656.52 tonnes but down 1.2 percent, Transaero 34,834.99 tonnes and up 4.6 percent, Volga-Dnepr 34,718.18 tonnes but down 12.1 percent, and finally S7 Sibir with 19,807 tons of cargo and mail and down 0.4 percent, y-o-y.
In total, Russian carriers transported 550,377.53 tonnes of cargo during the period, an increase by 3.7 percent, y-o-y.
