Sep 18, 2013 (newstodate): The oil industries in Norway and the UK are the driving forces behind a new route connecting their energy centers.
Starting from October 28, 2013, bmi will launch services on a new route between Aberdeen, in Scotland, and Oslo in Norway.
There are no direct flights between Aberdeen and the Norwegian capital, but with Statoil's increasing new activities in the North Atlantic, the need for a direct service has been rising.
The new route will be served six times per week with Embraer 135 aircraft.
