Sep 02, 2013 (newstodate): Lithuanian carrier Ar Lituanica is adding four new routes to its network - on a temporary basis, that is.
During the period December 21, 2013-January 4, 2014, the carrier will offer flights from its home base at Vilnius Airport to Dublin and London Gatwick, and during the same period operations at a second Lithuanian airport will be added.
Air Lituanica will thus operate flights from Palanga Airport to Dublin and London Gatwick as well.
The program between Vilnius and London will comprise seven rotations, while the carrier will offer five rotations on the route between Vilnius and Dublin.
From Palanga at the Baltic coast Air Lituanica will operate five rotations each on the two routes during the Christmas and New Year's holiday season.
The seasonal flights will probably cover up for less traffic on the carrier's existing routes during the slack season.
