Sep 09, 2013 (newstodate): Kazakhstan's Air Astana has received another new Airbus A320 aircraft.
An order by Air Astana was placed with Airbus in 2008 for delivery of a total of six Airbus A320 Family aircraft, and the new aircraft is the fifth in this series.
The sixth, and last, Airbus A320 aircraft will be delivered to the carrier in November 2013.
In the fleet now are one Airbus A319, six Airbus A320 and four Airbus A321 aircraft, alongside seven Boeing and seven Embraer 190 aircraft.
Air Astana has also ordered three Boeing 787 aircraft for delivery starting from 2017.
