Sep 19, 2013 (newstodate): The owner of Kiev Zhuliany International Airport is mulling plans for turning the passenger terminal B into a cargo facility.
The airport opened a new passenger terminal on May 17, 2012, rendering the old terminal obsolete and inadequate to meet modern passenger expectations in light of growing traffic loads.
With increasing cargo volumes, the airport may consider redeveloping the terminal to cargo purposes instead, mainly for small shipments.
