Sep 24, 2013 (newstodate): Denmark's Copenhagen Airport has now released its cargo figures for H1, 2013, showing an overall growth in volumes by 5.7 percent, y-o-y, to 158,031 tonnes of cargo flown and trucked, volumes on integrators excluded.
The airport has its strategy focused on belly cargo that was up by 2.6 percent to 52,473 tonnes, while cargo on freighter flights, again excluding integrators, grew by 13.3 percent to 26,470 tonnes.
The bulk of the volumes was, however, in the trucked cargo that grew by 5,9 percent to 69,582 tonnes, and finally mail volumes, 9,526 tonnes, were up by another four percent during January-June 2013.
