Sep 25, 2013 (newstodate): After its failure to launch traffic in 2012, Greenland Express is now announcing fresh efforts.
Little has been revealed of the coming new initiatives, but according to Greenland Express' exclusive news channel on facebook, flights will be started up by April 2014, at the latest.
Besides, the Greenland Express team, of which only its founder Gert Brask is known, promises that all details including type of aircraft, schedules and rates will be announced at a press conference later in 2013.
After a long series of delays in 2013 to the project for launching a low-cost competitor to Air Greenland, Gert Brask announced that Greenland Express abrogated its cooperation with its investors and partners, Silver Tiger Aviation and Delta Capita, closing down Greenland Express Ltd with immediate effect on August 30, 2013.
In the original plans were flights from Copenhagen and Aalborg in Denmark and Keflavik at Iceland to Narsarsuak and Kangerlussuaq in Greenland.
