Sep 23, 2013 (newstodate): The Croatian charter and ACMI carrier Trade Air has won a new tender of the Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure.
In the next three years, Trade Air will operate on the routes Osijek-Zagreb-Osijek and Rijeka-Split-Dubrovnik-Rijeka, with three weekly rotations during the winter schedule, and going up to five during the summer.
To fulfill the requirements in the contract, Trade Air is to lease an Embraer 120 aircraft, adding to its current fleet of three Fokker 10 aircraft.
The first flights on the new routes - the airline's first scheduled services - will start on September 30, 2013.
The privately-owned carrier Trade Air, based at Zagreb Airport, was established in April 1994 and started operations on May 22, 1995.
