Sep 26, 2013 (newstodate): Air China Cargo has suspended all freighter operations at Denmark's Copenhagen Airport till October 28, 2013.
Air China Cargo first started its operation to Copenhagen on September 20, 2006, having in periods operated up to four weekly Boeing 474-400F rotations on the route between Beijing, Shanghai and Copenhagen.
Since March 6, 2010, two of the weekly Boeing 747-400 flights changed routing to ShanghaiBeijingCopenhagenParisShanghai, while other flights still turned around at Copenhagen Airport.
In the latest CASS statistics available, Air China Cargo saw its cargo volumes in the Danish market down by 50 percent, y-o-y, in July 2013.
Industry observers, however, doubt if the carrier will return on the route at all, after Air China Cargo has cut frequencies and cancelled flights on several occasions.
