Sep 27, 2013 (newstodate): Atlantic Airlines has secured another five years as provider to Royal Mail in the UK.
The result of the tender was announced in May 2013, and will increase the cooperation between the two parties.
Atlantic Airlines is already supplying four BAe ATP aircraft as well as one Boeing 737-300SF aircraft, and has now been awarded one additional ATP route and three more Boeing 737 routes.
The contract marks the carrier's further expansion into the Boeing 737 freighter segment.
The carrier has signed up for delivery of two more Boeing 737-300SF aircraft for delivery in 2013 and 2014, respectively.
In the fleet are now 11 BAe ATP and three Boeing 737-300SF aircraft.
