Aug 29, 2013 (newstodate): The codeshare cooperation between Singapore Airlines SAS is to be expanded to comprise more destinations in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
The agreement has been expanded to SAS-operated flights from Copenhagen to Alesund, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim in Norway, to Gothenburg in Sweden and to Aalborg, Aarhus and Billund in Denmark Turku in Finland.
SAS in turn is to add its code on SIA-operated flights beyond Singapore to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney in Australia, to Auckland in New Zealand, to Denpasar on Bali and to Jakarta in Indonesia as well as to and Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
The two carriers have been codesharing since December 2010, initially encompassing SIA adding its code to SAS-operated flights beyond Copenhagen to Helsinki, Oslo and Stockholm, and SAS codesharing on SIA-operated flights between Copenhagen and Singapore and on selected flights between Singapore and Bangkok.
