Aug 26, 2013 (newstodate): The Nordic airport handling group Aviator is to merge all its four constituent companies under one unified brand name - Aviator.
Thus, Rros and Norport will be re-named Aviator later this year, while Nordic Aero and Novia will follow suit in 2014.
The Aviator Group was founded in December 2010, when Aviator purchased the Swedish company, Nordic Aero, and the two Norwegian companies, Rros Flyservice and Norport Ground Handling.
An Additional acquisition was made April 2011, when Aviator made an agreement with the Danish company Novia to purchase all shares of Novia and Sturup Handling.
The Danish company Copenhagen Flight Services is part of the Swedish Nordic Aero Group, but dedicated to handling of low-cost carriers and will probably not be included in the re-branding effort.
