Aug 27, 2013 (newstodate): Poland's Warsaw Chopin Airport has completed the construction of a new aircraft maintenance hangar.
The new facility is owned by the airport that is currently running a tender process for its future lease by a third party.
The 4,000 sq m hangar can accommodate code C aircraft such as Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 with a wingspan of up to 36 m, and is located next to the Blue Jet hangar in the western part of the airport.
The airport is served by 32 scheduled airlines including four low-cost carriers, offering flights to 101 destinations in 42 countries on four continents in the 2013 summer season.
