Aug 23, 2013 (newstodate): The new Ukrainian carrier YanAir has taken delivery of its third aircraft.
The carrier, based at Kiev, has added an Airbus A320 aircraft to its fleet of two SAAB 340A aircraft, and with its own AOC and operating license YanAir is now allowed to operate domestic flights in Ukraine from Kiev to Donetsk, Chernivtsi, Mariupol, Zhytomyr and Odessa.
The first commercial flight will reportedly lift off from Kiev to Chernivtsi on August 28, 2013.
It remains unknown who is actually controlling the carrier that is also not yet displayed on the internet with an own website.
