Aug 06, 2013 (newstodate): In June 2013, two forwarders together accounted for almost half of the IATA export freight in the Swedish market. But both were down in volumes compared to last year.
#1 on the list was DHL Global Forwarding with 2,031 tonnes, representing 26.1 percent of the market - but down 12.4 percent, y-o-y, in volumes.
#2 was Geodis Wilson with 1,596 tonnes, corresponding to 20.5 percent of the market - but also down 19.4 percent, y-o-y, in volumes.
#3 was Kuehne & Nagel up 8.7 percent, y-o-y, to 662 tonnes, followed by Panalpina with 642 tonnes, up 36.5 percent, and Schenker with 496 tonnes, down 4.5 percent, y-o-y.
Growing the most in volumes was Agility with an increase by 44.4 percent, y-o-y, to 275 tonnes, while Air Logistics fell the most - down 36.5 percent, y-o-y, to 167 tonnes.
