Aug 15, 2013 (newstodate): While still silent on its coming schedule and launch date, the new Hungarian airline venture under formation, Solyom (Falcon) Airways is rapidly building up its aircraft fleet.
The carrier is initially to lease six Boeing 737-500 aircraft now being prepared for delivery at Bournemouth, in the UK, by European Aviation Group.
The first two aircraft are reportedly already prepared for delivery to the new carrier, and a further four will follow later in August 2013.
The carrier's CEO Jozsef Vago still expects the first flight to lift off in September 2013, but it remains unclear if the carrier has actually received its AOC and other licenses.
