Jul 29, 2013 (newstodate): The Swedish IATA export cargo market dropped 7.1 percent, y-o-y, in June 2013, to 7,774 tonnes.
Five carriers contributed to the decline with negative growth in volumes.
These were #1, SAS Cargo with 1,286 tonnes and down 11.8 percent, #5 Emirates with 521 tonnes and down 21.2 percent, #6 Air China with 447 tonnes and down 23.3 percent, #8 Thai Airways with 354 tonnes and down 14.7 percent, and #9 Korean with 288 tonnes and down 42.8 percent, y-o-y.
On the bright side, positive growth was contributed by #2 KLM Cargo with 888 tonnes and up 46.3 percent, #3 Lufthansa Cargo with 879 tonnes and up one percent, #4 Finnair Cargo with 680 tonnes and up 14 percent, #7 SIA Cargo with 392 tonnes and up 27.7 percent, and #10 Qatar Airways with 288 tonnes and up 15.1 percent, y-o-y.
Barely sniffing at a position on the Top-10 list was British Airways World Cargo with 260 tonnes, but down 32.1 percent in June 2013.
