Jul 24, 2013 (newstodate): Hungary's Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport Airport is to get a new Moscow air link from this autumn.
New on the route between Budapest and Moscow will be Wizz Air, starting flights to Moscow Vnukovo International Airport from September 23, 2013.
Budapest is already served by Aeroflot from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport, but the access to the Russian capital's 2nd airport is new to the Hungarian market, facilitating access to a range of new Russian domestic and international destinations.
Wizz Air will offer five weekly rotations on the route using Airbus A320 aircraft.
By this latest opening, Wizz Air has returned traffic to five routes earlier served by the now-defunct Malev - besides Moscow also Kiev, Tel Aviv, and Istanbul.
