The day will be marked by the final signing of the contract with Etihad that will take over the carrier after a prolonged process of evaluation and negotiations.
More detail will be published at a press conference later on the same day, and according to industry sources the new owner will announce the re-branding and renaming of JAT as well as plans to lease 10 Airbus A319 aircraft and launch flights to 10 new destinations from this coming winter schedule.
The Serb state is expected to accept the debts and liabilities of the failing carrier as well as redundancy packages for the hundreds of employees to be sacked.
