Jun 13, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian airline Transaero has taken delivery of its second freighter aircraft.
The delivery of its second Tu-204-100C freighter completes the order placed with Ilyushin Finance, following the delivery of the first aircraft in April 2013.
These freighters are the first dedicated cargo aircraft in Transaero's fleet, but even so the carrier is ranked among Russia's top-5 cargo carrier, after AirBridgeCargo, Aeroflot, and Volga-Dnepr.
In the fleet of Transaero are now a total of 99 aircraft including 24 Boeing 747, 14 Boeing 777, 15 Boeing 767, 41 Boeing 737, three Tu-214 and the two Tu-204-100C freighters.
