Jun 07, 2013 (newstodate): Volga-Dnepr will become a new home carrier at Paris Vatry Airport in 2013.
The carrier has announced plans to allocate up to three IL-76TD-90VD aircraft at the airport to meet demand in Western European markets for air charter operations.
With increased payload and range, greater fuel and operating efficiencies and lower noise and emissions than old versions of the IL-76, Volga-Dneprs aircraft comply with all of ICAO's current and prospective operating standards enabling Volga-Dnepr to service major markets around the world which banned old versions of the IL-76 in 2000, including Europe, North America, Japan and Australia.
