Jun 11, 2013 (newstodate): Construction of a new hangar complex has been started at Latvia's Riga Airport.
FBO Riga, a company in the Flight Consulting Group, will build a new business aviation complex including a 6,000 sq m hangar with capacity of housing up to nine business jet aircraft as well as office and other facilities.
The construction works are slated for completion by September 2014.
Opening the first purpose-built business aviation hangar in the Baltic States and Scandinavia, FBO Riga launched business in 2000 and is now serving 85 percent of all business aircraft operations at the airport.
