Jun 04, 2013 (newstodate): Ukraine's Kharkiv Airlines has taken delivery of its first Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft landed at Kiev Airport yesterday, and will be joined by another aircraft of the same type shortly.
Kharkiv Airlines will operate flights from Ukraine to a range of tourist destination for a Russian tour operator.
The state-owned Kharkiv Airlines was set up in July 1998 and reorganized into OJSC Kharkiv Airlines in December 2001.
In June 2012, the state sold its assets, 99.99 percent of the stake, in the carrier to an unnamed private buyer.
