Jun 17, 2013 (newstodate): JAT and Etihad Airways will finally announce their common future at a press conference in Belgrade this afternoon.
While the agenda is still kept secret, it is widely expected that Etihad will publish its decision to take a significant minority state in the Serb carrier following on the cooperation already announced a few months ago.
The code-share agreement between the two carrier is also now in effect, with JAT operating the code-shared flights between Belgrade and Sarajevo, while Etihad Airways adds JAT's airline code to its flights from Abu Dhabi to Belgrade, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, with more routes to follow.
