May 30, 2013 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines is planning for more flight connections to Azerbaijan.
Already serving Baku, Ganja and Nakhchivan with flights from Istanbul, Turkish Airlines is also mulling plans for opening up a fourth Azer destinations from next summer.
Facilitated by the open skies between the two countries, the carrier will start flights to Lankaran, reportedly from summer 2014.
The planned flight will initially be operated with four weekly rotations targeting daily rotations at a later stage.
