May 21, 2013 (newstodate): SAS and Singapore Airlines are deepening their code-shared offerings under the JV formally established in May 2012.
So far, the two carriers have code-shared their flights between Singapore and the Scandinavian capitals, but starting from May 20, 2013, the SQ prefix has been added to 19 additional routes operated by SAS between Copenhagen and destinations in the Baltic region, Norway, Poland and other countries, while the SK prefix has been added on five routes by Singapore Airlines to Australia and New Zealand.
Already in existence since December 2010 are code-shared routes between Singapore and Bangkok and Singapore and Copenhagen operated by Singapore Airlines.
