May 30, 2013 (newstodate): In April 2013, the Scandinavian carrier SAS sold a total of 2,883 tonnes of export cargo in the Nordic region.
Sales in Sweden were 1,161 tonnes, a drop by 12.7 percent, y-o-y, corresponding to a market share at 14.5 percent.
Sales in Denmark were 1,065 tonnes, an increase by 33.3 percent, y-o-y, and earning a market share at 18.7 percent.
In Norway, SAS sold 528 tonnes, down 21.7 percent, y-o-y, and resulting in a market share at 6.9 percent.
Finally, in Finland SAS Cargo sold 129 tonnes, up 5.4 percent, and resulting in a market share at 3.7 percent.
In Sweden and Denmark, SAS was ranked #1 IATA export cargo carrier, in Norway SAS came 5th, and in Finland SAS was ranked #7 on the Top-10 list of IATA carriers.
