On May 1, 2013, the aircraft was taxiing at New York Newark Airport for departure on the flight to Oslo as its wing hit the tail of another aircraft, an ExpressJet Embraer E-145, while turning to get unto the runway, according to NBCNewYork.com.
The aircraft was towed back to the terminal, and no injuries occurred.
SAS operates a fleet comprising four Airbus A330-300 and seven A340-300 for its long-haul route network.
