May 24, 2013 (newstodate): The Russian state is again attempting to privatize S7 Sibir Airlines - but as the tender process is closing, no other airlines have reportedly filed for participation.
Only two combinations of the carrier's current management have actually delivered bids on the 25.5 percent state held by the state.
The deadline for registration is May 27, the outcome will be announced on May 28 - and the tender process will then start on May 30, 2013.
Earlier attempts, including three in 2011, failed due to over-pricing of the shares.
The airline is Russia's 4th largest in terms of passenger volumes.
S7 Sibir's fleet of leased aircraft comprises 20 Airbus A319, 16 Airbus A320, one Airbus A310, two Boeing 767-300, four Boeing 737-400 and nine Boeing 737-800.
