May 14, 2013 (newstodate): Norway's Oslo Gardermoen Airport experienced an unusually high growth in April 2013.
A total of 9,305 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, an increase by 34.7 percent, y-o-y.
Included in the totals were 6,587 tonnes of international cargo, up 18.8 percent, and 2.718 tonnes of domestic cargo, an increase by 30.2 percent.
For January-April 2013, the total volume of air cargo at Oslo Gardermoen Airport was thus 38,089 tonnes, up 12.9 percent, y-o-y, primarily driven by a growth at 11.4 percent in international cargo, to 26,935 tonnes.
