May 29, 2013 (newstodate): In April 2013, Norway reported a dip by 9.6 percent, y-o-y, in its IATA export cargo volumes, to 7,620 tonnes.
Actually, seven out of the Top-10 IATA carriers shared in the decline, with Qatar Airways, KLM Cargo and Cargo Airlines Ltd as the only exceptions.
Qatar Airways thus ranked #1 with 1,557 tonnes and growing 39.9 percent, KLM Cargo was ranked #3 with 872 tonnes and up 1.1 percent, while CAL grew its volumes by 48.3 percent to 224 tonnes and ranking #10.
On the "negative" list, Finnair Cargo was ranked #2 with 896 tonnes and down 14.2 percent, y-o-y, #4 Korean Air Lines Cargo was down 17.5 percent to 8654 tonnes, and #5 SAS Cargo fell 21.7 percent to 528 tonnes.
Dipping the most was #9 on the list, Lufthansa Cargo with 271 tonnes and down 54.9 percent, y-o-y.
