May 27, 2013 (newstodate): The Nordic IATA export airfreight markets showed signs of improvement in April 2013 - with Norway as the only exception.
After a prolonged period of decline in IATA export sales, Sweden saw its volumes up again in April, rising 3.5 percent, y-o-y, to 7,979 tonnes.
Rising the most was the Danish IATA export market that was up 5.8 percent, y-o-y, to 5,695 tonnes and thus the third-largest in the Nordic region.
The Finnish market was also up by 1.9 percent to 3,506 tonnes - the smallest in the region.
Finally, the region's second-largest market Norway saw its CASS sales down by 9.6 percent, y-o-y, to 7,620 tonnes in April 2013.
