May 29, 2013 (newstodate): The new Slovak full-charter carrier under formation, Go2Sky is now planning to take in its first aircraft, a Boeing 737-400, by June 15, 2013.
-Once the aircraft has been delivered, we will apply for our AOC and all requirements for this are already being fulfilled, says Daniel Ferjancek, Go2Sky CEO and one of the carrier's founders.
-From the start, we have a contract with Italian tour operators to operate full-charters to tourist destinations in Greece, Spain and possibly also Africa,
-The aircraft will be based at Milan Malpensa Airport, and the Italian market is especially attractive for us due to price levels significantly above those of for instance Slovakia.
-We expect to take in our second aircraft before the end of this year, and we will then add one aircraft annually over the coming three years.
-The second aircraft will be based at Bratislava, Slovakia, to serve the Slovakian market that is still sound business despite lower price levels, says Mr Ferjancek.
