May 27, 2013 (newstodate): Israel's second-largest carrier, Arkia is preparing to expand services between Israel and the Caucasus region.
Starting from May 28, 2013, the carrier will be offering regular flights between Tel Aviv and Yerevan with two weekly rotations using Embraer 195LR aircraft.
Arkia has long been offering two weekly flights between Tel Aviv and Tbilisi, in Georgia, resumed in 2008 after a suspension during the war between Georgia and Russia.
