May 03, 2013 (newstodate): Iraq is building up new air service agreements with other countries to return commercial flights to normal conditions.
This week alone, Iraqi authorities have signed agreements with seven countries, including Sweden, Romania, Georgia, China, Malaysia, Russia, and Azerbaijan.
The agreement with Sweden will comprise access to also to Denmark and Norway as the Scandinavian countries negotiate such agreements jointly.
With the new agreements, Iraqi Airways will set up offices in these countries and prepare for future regular flights between Baghdad and the capitals of these countries.
