May 22, 2013 (newstodate): Air Greenland has increased its capacity on its trunk route connecting its North Atlantic airport at Kangerlussuaq with Copenhagen Airport in Denmark.
The expansion is a result of a reconfiguration of its single Airbus A330-200 aircraft where four business class rows were replaced by seven economy class rows, bringing in an extra 33 seats.
The reconfiguration was completed during the recent planned maintenance at Copenhagen Airport, and the aircraft thus went from 54 to 30 business class seats and from 191 to 248 economy class seats.
During the summer season, Air Greenland operates daily flights on the route to Denmark.
