May 06,2013 (newstodate): Finland will be the first Nordic country to see the Boeing 787 Dreamliner in scheduled service.
The Japanese carrier Japan Air Lines plans to introduce the Dreamliner on its new route between Tokyo Narita Airport and Helsinki Vantaa Airport starting from July 1, 2013.
The carrier will be offering daily rotations on the route.
Since December 2005, Japan Air Lines and Finnair have been code-sharing their flights and Helsinki and Tokyo will thus have two daily flights as JAL start its operations.
