May 27, 2013 (newstodate): Sales in April 2013 by Singapore Airlines Cargo in the Scandinavian markets were again down, compared to last year.
The sustained drop in volumes was seen in both Denmark and Sweden where the over-all IATA cargo sales were actually growing positively, while the decline in Norway was double that of the the market in general.
Thus Singapore Airlines Cargo was down 38.8 percent, y-o-y, to 194 tonnes in Denmark where the CASS market was up 5.8 percent, and in Sweden the company dropped 4.7 percent to 344 tonnes while the market was up by 3.5 percent, y-o-y.
Finally, in Norway the company was down 19 percent to 429 tonnes in a market that declined by 9.6 percent, y-o-y.
Singapore Airlines Cargo was ranked #8 in Denmark, #9 in Sweden, and #7 in Norway.
Singapore Airlines Cargo thus sold a total of 967 tonnes of export cargo in the Scandinavian markets in April 213.
