Apr 05, 2013 (newstodate): The Polish carrier LOT is to phase out its entire fleet of Embraer E-170 aircraft as part of its strategy to slim the fleet.
LOT is Europe's single largest operator of Embraer aircraft and was also the launch customer of the Embraer E-170, now totaling 10 units in the carrier's fleet.
LOT has entrusted the UK based company Skyworld Aviation to assist with the marketing of LOT's Embraer 170-100 aircraft in the global aviation business.
Also in the fleet of LOT are 14 Embraer E-175 and six E-195, and the carrier still has options for a further six Embraer E-195 aircraft.
