Apr 03, 2013 (newstodate): Russia's Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft are now in commercial service with two new operators in the Far East.
On March 23, 2013, the Indonesian airline Sky Aviation performed its first domestic commercial flight with the new aircraft from Makassar to Sorong.
In 2011, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft and Sky Aviation signed a contract for delivery of 12 Superjet 100 aircraft during the period 2012 - 2015.
The airline took over its first Superjet 100 in February 2013, and the next delivery is slated for Q2, 2013.
On March 24, 2013, Lao Central performed its first domestic commercial flight from Vientiane to Luangphabang, and will from now introduce the Superjet 100 on both domestic and international routes from Laos to Bangkok, Hanoi, Ho Chi Ming, Singapore and other destinations in Southeast Asia.
