Apr 29, 2013 (newstodate): A lofty project, Nordic Air Sweden has stepped down from plans to launch flights from April 2013.
So far, the plans have not been cancelled but suspended till autumn 2013, aiming at a fresh start by September 2013.
Nordic Air Sweden does not have an own operating license but would fly using Embraer 170 aircraft on a lease agreement with Estonian Air.
Plans were to connect destinations in Northern Sweden with Copenhagen Airport as well as connecting flights to Beirut and Amman, but both schedules, frequencies and destinations were changed repeatedly.
