Apr 04, 2013 (newstodate): In February 2013, SAS Cargo noted a rather strong performance in the Nordic IATA export air cargo markets.
Positive growth was achieved in three out of the four markets, with Norway as the sole exception.
Here, SAS Cargo's volumes dropped by 7.7 percent, y-o-y, to 517 tonnes in a market that was over-all down by 11.3 percent.
SAS Cargo's largest volumes were seen in Sweden, totaling 1,289 tonnes while growing only slightly by 0.4 percent, y-o-y, in a market that dropped 9.8 percent to 7,221 tonnes.
The highest monthly growth was seen in the Danish market where SAS Cargo increased its volumes by 21.9 percent, y-o-y, to 961 tonnes, while the Danish market was down 4.2 percent to 5,815 tonnes.
Finally, in Finland SAS Cargo's volumes also increased by 10.9 percent to 113 tonnes, while the over-all Finnish IATA export cargo market dropped 9.6 percent, y-o-y, to 2,792 tonnes.
