Apr 11, 2013 (newstodate): Armenia's air cargo industry will benefit from a new infrastructure project to be launched.
Plans are to extend railway lines to Yerevan Zvartnots Airport, offering passengers access via a metro system, while the railway line will also connect to the airport's air cargo terminal.
The contract for construction of the new rail lines was signed in 2012, and work on a feasibility study is in the process, while the basic design work has already been completed.
